The Smart Families Food Co-op will be hosting its Annual General Meeting on Thursday, June 10 at 5 p.m. All Food Co-op members and interested parties are invited to attend.
The meeting will be held at River Bank Development located inside the Bernice Sayese Centre at 1350 15th Ave. W.
Smart Families Food Co-op is a local organization with more than 700 members in and around Prince Albert. Now in its eighth year, the Co-op works to promote healthy eating habits through its Good Food Box program.
The Good Food Box is an affordable and convenient way to access nutritious food on a regular basis. Our membership is widespread and includes individuals, students, seniors, families, daycare groups, health care providers, nutritionists, First Nations community members and community kitchen participants.
We are always eager to add to our membership numbers and encourage anyone in the community who enjoys eating fresh and nutritious fruits and vegetables at a lower cost to participate. The program is open to anyone in or around the community, regardless of income level or location.
Please help us spread the word about this worthy program. If you know someone in the Prince Albert area who might enjoy a Good Food Box, please let them know about us. Buying a Good Food Box is a great way to eat healthier while also saving time and money.
Our Good Food Box program has expanded to include SFFC EXTRA FOODS. View our brochure. We have a list of items available for sale in the RIVER BANK DEVELOPMENT OFFICE. Such items include:
